The Nesst-class light freighter is one of SoroSuubs' latest attempts to seize a portion of the small starship market, while simultaneously appeasing it's overlord, the Empire. The Nesst has a fairly short cruising range, but is a litte higher than average on cargo tonnage. It's major glaring weakness is that it is not designed to carry weapons, nor does it have surplus power for adding them later (an addition intended to keep the Empire from squashing the project).To add weapons systems requires an upgrade of the power core, generally considered more trouble than it's worth.
